Though you really have to dig to find the information, Chaska Minnesota residents have a solar energy incentive program available to them!

The Chaska Solar Rebate Program offers a $250 rebate for every solar panel you install on your residential property, up to a total of $2,500 or 10 panels. This program is available to City of Chaska Electric Department residential customers and is distributed on a first come, first served basis until funds run out. This rebate can also be combined with the 26% federal solar tax credit. 

Minnesota is a leader in the midwest for solar power, with a variety of community and utility level programs in addition to the statewide PACE solar loan program for business. Now another community is putting itself on the map for supporting this renewable energy source.
