I posted a link to the Solar Decathalon. This is an amazing event that has been going on for a couple years now and every year more and more competitors join in the effort to construct the most efficient and attractive home, powered entirely by the sun.
Just think, years from now we could see entire neighborhoods of these homes. People living a lifestyle that is both modern, functional, and carbon free. (I don't like using this phrase, "carbon free" because I know it is not completely possible, but a home that emits "less" carbon is a home worth living.)
