All Energy Solar Adds Location in Madison to Meet Increased Solar Demand

MADISON, WISC. — All Energy Solar, a company that designs, installs and monitors solar power systems for homes and businesses in six states, is expanding its business to Madison to meet rising demand. The new office and warehouse, at 5 Marsh Court in Madison, Wisc., has opened and will initially employ between 8-12 people, including warehouse staff, electricians, installers, technicians and sales representatives.  While All Energy Solar has been incorporated in Wisconsin since 2010, this will be the first time the company will have a local warehouse.

“We’re thrilled to be putting down bigger roots in Wisconsin,” said Michael Allen, president and co-owner of All Energy Solar, Wisconsin native and graduate of UW Madison. “We feel confident about this expansion into an office and warehouse to serve Wisconsin consumers.  As of the end of 2019, we have more than 200 clients in the state—and the 2000 kilowatts of solar we’re installing for those customers will move more than 200 homes off the electrical grid. Recent legislative changes in Wisconsin have also made it easier and cheaper for consumers to install solar; we are the ones on the ground to show them how simple — and affordable — the process is.”

The recent solar boom is fueled in part by a federal tax credit.  The Solar Investment Tax Credit, or ITC, is available for solar panel systems on both residential and commercial properties. It provides a credit for 26 percent of the cost of projects that begin construction in 2020 and 22 percent for projects that begin in 2021.  The residential credit will drop to zero after 2021, so there’s never been a better time to consider solar.

“As someone whose job involves giving consumers advice on how they can save money and energy by using renewable resources, I knew going solar was smart,” said Chad Laibly, who works for the Wisconsin energy efficiency and renewable resources program Focus on Energy. “What I didn’t expect was how hassle-free the process could be. From the free site visit to the customized array design to the paperwork required for claiming various credits and incentives, All Energy Solar made every step as simple as possible. I was also surprised by how much valuable insight into my own energy use their system monitoring app revealed! I’ve cut some waste, which feels good. And people love to ask me about the panels, which gives me a great opportunity to spread the word about renewable energy.”

“The American energy consumer has always wanted the most stable, low-cost power source possible, and innovations in technology mean solar power is perfect for this moment.  Wisconsin is representative of this exciting trend,” said Allen. “All Energy has reached an incredible point as leaders in clean energy, with thousands of solar installations reaching every sort of consumer, including homes, businesses, farms, government offices, churches, and schools.”

All Energy Solar provides a full-service solar energy integration experience for residential, commercial, agricultural, and government customers looking to make the transition to solar energy. The company provides accurate return on investment forecasting, direct financing, and hands-on help navigating the incentive and rebate process.
